✤ This listing is for the Custom Consultation Deposit only. ✤

The consultation deposit allows review of custom-related requests, non-standard modifications, availability checks, and design-related inquiries before production approval.

✦ Custom Consultation Deposit — $10

A consultation deposit is required before detailed custom discussions or review of non-standard requests.

If the request is accepted, the deposit will be applied toward the final custom modification fee.

Example:
If the approved modification fee is $15, the initial $10 deposit will be applied and the remaining $5 balance must be paid before production begins.

If the request cannot be accepted by the shop, the consultation deposit will be refunded in full.

✦ Cosmetic Modifications (color and appearance-related changes) : starting at $15

Examples:
• Existing color changes
• Existing bead color changes

✦ Structural Modifications (changes affecting length, balance, hardware, silhouette, or overall construction) : starting at $20

Examples:
• Length adjustments
• Hardware changes
• Part additions/removals
• Structural or silhouette changes

Cosmetic & Structural modifications: starting at $30

Custom requests are created according to customer-selected specifications and combinations. Customers are expected to provide clear design ideas, preferred colors, requested components, and reference listings before submitting a request.

Unlike ready-made pieces, custom requests are not pre-curated or finalized as part of the regular collection. Final aesthetic balance, color coordination, and overall appearance depend on the customer’s selected combinations.

Because custom work is not a standard ongoing service of the shop, complete color charts or full component sample libraries are not provided. Existing shop listings may be used as references for colors, materials, and design elements currently available.

Requests involving non-standard colors, materials, structural modifications, or unavailable components may require additional consultation and sourcing fees, or may not be accepted.

To respect the creativity and work of fellow creators, requests to recreate or closely imitate designs from other shops are respectfully declined.

Care Instructions for Mizuhiki Jewelry

  • Avoid prolonged contact with water, humidity, or sweat to help maintain its shape and color.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in a pouch or box to protect from dust and pressure.
  • Handle gently, as Mizuhiki cords are paper-based and can be sensitive to bending or crushing.
  • Wipe metal parts with a soft dry cloth after use to slow down tarnishing.
